Our Story
Some love stories begin with years of friendship. Others begin with a grand gesture. Andrew and Ashley’s began somewhere in between over a blind date dinner set by their best friends at Catch in Las Vegas.
From the moment they met, there was an undeniable spark. The Dude wasted no time making the first move, while Ashley, ever so elegantly, left him wondering with nothing more than a tiny smooch at the end of the night. It was enough to leave him wanting more, and the beginning of a connection neither of them could ignore.
Ashley was immediately drawn to Andrew’s warm smile, handsome face, and athletic spirit. Andrew was captivated by Ashley’s beauty, elegance, and presence. What started as instant attraction quickly became something much deeper.
The moment they both knew this was something special happened during one of Andrew’s visits to Ashley. While spending an evening together they realized neither of them wanted the night to end. It became clear they wanted more than weekend visits they wanted to build a life together, share a home, and never have to say goodbye.
Over the years, their love has been shaped by extraordinary adventures and everyday moments alike. Together they have traveled to incredible destinations, celebrated milestones, and created memories around the world. Yet some of their favorite moments remain the simplest ones: quiet dinners at home, movies on the couch, great music playing in the background, and lazy Sundays spent together in the sanctuary they have created.
Dude introduced Ashley to the world of sports, including golf which is a passion they now enjoy side by side. Ashley fills their home with love through her hosting and cooking while Andrew has mastered the art of a perfect breakfast and an unforgettable meal on the grill. Their life together is built not only on adventure, but on friendship, the kind that makes ordinary days feel extraordinary. Let’s not forget that before there was a wedding to plan, there was Jerry, the greatest bichon there ever was, also their first little fur family member and one of God’s sweetest gifts to them by Ashley’s parents. They all share a special bond with their little bichon sister “Corazón”.
One of the most unforgettable chapters of their story took place in Maui, on the beach Andrew grew up visiting between the Grand Wailea and Four Seasons. As the sun set over the Pacific on a beautiful December evening, surrounded by the place that held so many memories for him, Andrew asked Ashley to spend forever with him. Against a backdrop of golden skies and gentle waves, she said yes.
Today, Ashley and Andrew are preparing for their greatest adventure yet: marriage.
They are deeply grateful for the love of their families, the support of their friends, and the faith that has guided their journey together. More than anything, they are excited to begin this next chapter hand in hand, building a life rooted in love, laughter, loyalty, and God’s grace.
